One of the strongest weapons in Toolroom's WMC arsenal will be Mark Knight's Bullets EP Volume 2, due for release in 19th March.
The first track Alright will surely top the Beatport charts, since it closely resembles classic chart toppers like The Bucketheads - The Bomb and Red Carpet - Alright.

"Listen to this city, contaminated by shitty music... it's time to strike back."
The other day I watched a Swedish film called Sound of Noise. It was absolutely phenomenal. 5-stars. Probably my new all-time favourite movie. I don't know why I missed it when it came out (probably because it's Swedish), but it's won a Cannes award and I highly, highly recommend it to anyone interested in musique concrète style stuff, percussion, drumming, sampling, electronic music...just, music in general.
While the soundtrack is obviously the highlight, the movie also has an engaging and very amusing plot involving a tone-deaf policeman born to a family of prestigious musicians and a "terrorist" group composed of castaway, frustrated drummers who's talents are under-appreciated by bourgeois music. They compose a 4-part concerto that will take place in various locations around the city, using objects such as stamps, bulldozers, oxygen tanks, human bodies, calculators, saws and much more to create their beats. It's basically like Stomp but illegal and wonderful. The policeman absolutely detests music of any kind but is placed in charge of putting an end to this sonic takeover of the city.
The 4 pieces performed by the group are:
1. Doctor Doctor Gimme Gas In My Ass
2. Money 4 U Honey
3. Fuck The Music Kill! Kill!
4. Electric Love

There is also a short film that was the initial project before the full-length film:
Watch this film when you get the chance, but make sure you have good sound! I would really like to watch it in the theater with proper surround sound sometime. Also, I think I glimpsed a sound wave pattern on the policeman's sideburns!?!?

All the tracks are amazing, and this is my favourite:
New release by Martin on Diynamic, with heavy support from label boss Solomun. Not sure why but the title track Window Shopping really makes me want to go to a crêperie. Beautiful vocal sampling as always!
