10 Commandments About Being a Raver

This video for Kaskade & deadmau5's "I Remember" has a slightly threatening looking retired raver patiently listing out the 10 commandments about being a raver. Although it is easy to laugh at the seriousness in his voice, some of the points he made are valid such as No. 5 and No.6

1. Location, location, location.
2. Gain entry by any means necessary.
3. Fear nothing.
4. Send the word out to those who believe in it.
5. It's not where you're from, it's where you're going.
6. Reject the mainstream.
7. Find the best soundsystem.
8. Never fail.
9. Make sure the music's bang on.
10. It's your choice, find your own voice.

  1. Beyond true. However, these are what the true raver follows. Those who deny any of these commandments have not stood up for their bond. For us ravers, our bond is everlasting. Don't let this become another saying like that bogus PLUR junk. Live these commandments fellow ravers.

  2. No not just 5 and 6 but all of them... Location is key when choosing a venue. If u don't have the money jump the fence. if u only have GA tix find a way into VIP. If u r rollin u cant be in fear it will ruin everyones time. Bring more people into the rave community,
